Wheel Chair Donation
The Edith Nyenze Foundation has successfully implemented a range of impactful programs addressing social inequalities, access to opportunities, and the empowerment of underprivileged communities.
The Wheelchair Donation Project exemplifies our commitment to creating sustainable and measurable change, directly improving the lives of individuals with physical disabilities. The project identifies individuals with mobility challenges across Kitui West Constituency in Kitui County, Kenya. Based on a comprehensive baseline survey, over 300 individuals living with disabilities have been identified as needing mobility aids, including wheelchairs, walking frames, and other assistive devices.
Thanks to a generous partnership with Hope Mobility and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, the Foundation has secured the donation of 300 mobility aids for distribution. This initiative builds on the success of the previous year, where the Foundation reached 221 beneficiaries. The 2025 iteration aims to amplify the impact, targeting a broader audience and ensuring inclusivity through well-coordinated community engagement.
